UC Davis graduate students studying water engineering or watershed science shared their experiences with graduate school and their future plans. This was a great opportunity for undergraduate students to learn more about how to prepare for graduate school, examples of research conducted, and the benefits of getting the degree. Attendees had an opportunity to ask questions of their own.

We hosted a Senior Civil Engineer from ERM to present about resume tips in preparation for the Engineering and Physical Sciences Internship and Career Fair. Attendees brought their resume to mark up and review.

Dr. Kevin Fang is a professor at the Department of Urban & Regional Planning at San José State University. He is also a staff research associate at the UC Davis Institute of Transportation Studies and a lecturer for the Department of Environmental Science and Policy. His research focuses on sustainable transportation and land use. Dr. Fang shared about the field of urban and regional planning, and how this can relate to water in terms of supply and demand.
