Webinar: Is the Water Industry Right for Me? - Feb. 16th from 12:00 - 1:00 PM
Presentation Topics:
• Personal story: Journey into the water industry
• Transitions and adaptations into the water industry
• Growing a career in the water industry Speaker: Michele Harvey
Speaker Bio: In 2010, I traded the semiconductor industry for the water industry and began using my engineering degree to support meters and meter reading technologies. With encouragement from my new colleagues, I immediately joined the California-Nevada Section of the AWWA and became active in the Meter Committee. Based on the technical knowledge and industry expertise I gained, in 2016, I became the first vendor to Chair this committee. I'm very proud that the Section presented its Chair's Award to me in 2019. Please join me as I share my journey into the water industry, how I grew my professional career through this transition and why I wished I had started in the water industry.
